Radiofrequency, RF microneedling and HIFU treatments are some of the most profitable in a clinic, which makes a faulty machine expensive. We diagnose handpiece, generator and error-code faults and quote the repair before we start.

- Cartridge not detected or communication errors

We do not bypass or reset manufacturer cartridge counters or licence limits. If a cartridge fault is genuine we diagnose it. If it is a licensing lock, we will tell you to go back to the supplier.
Handpieces are where most of the money goes
On most RF and HIFU machines the handpiece or cartridge is the expensive, fragile part. A good diagnosis tells you whether it is the handpiece, the cable or the machine, before you buy a replacement you did not need.

What repair costs
We quote each job. As a guide, a diagnosis visit is £95 and labour is £75 an hour, with parts at cost plus 25%. Handpiece repairs start from £295. You get the figure in writing first. All prices exclude VAT. See the full price guide.
Is it the handpiece or the machine?
That is the first thing we work out. Testing with a known-good handpiece or reading the machine’s fault log usually answers it.
Can you repair HIFU transducers?
It depends on the fault and the make. Send us the model and symptoms and we will tell you honestly whether a repair is realistic or a replacement is the better route.
Do you supply parts?
We source parts as part of the repair and charge them at cost plus 25%, shown on your quote.
