What we collect

When you send a quote request or contact us, we collect your name, clinic or salon name, phone number, email address, postcode, the machine make and model, and what you tell us about the fault. When you book a job we also hold the details we need to visit you and invoice you. Our website also records basic visit information, such as pages viewed and device type, once analytics is switched on and you have agreed to it.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to you, give you a quote, carry out and invoice the work, and keep the records the law requires. Our legal bases are your request to us (to take steps before a contract), performing the contract, legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the business. We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services we need to run the business, such as our website host (WordPress.com), email provider, accounting software and payment services, and where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details until the enquiry is dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards. Job and invoice records are kept for the period required for accounting and tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Write to info@aeservicing.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
