Laser repair and servicing
Nd:YAG and tattoo removal laser repair in Essex
Tattoo removal clients book weeks ahead, so a laser that is down hurts. We repair and service Q-switched, long-pulsed Nd:YAG and picosecond platforms at your studio or clinic, with a clear quote before any work starts.
Faults we diagnose and repair
- Low or unstable energy and weak treatments
- Flashlamp and pump-chamber wear
- Beam alignment and articulated arm problems
- Cooling, flow and de-ionised water faults
- Handpiece and spot-size optics problems
- Interlock, footswitch and shutter faults
- Power supply and capacitor failures
- Calibration and output checks after repair
Picosecond platforms are more specialised and some repairs need manufacturer parts. We tell you plainly what we can do and what we cannot before you commit to anything.

Output you can trust after every repair
A tattoo removal laser that is down on output wastes sessions and frustrates clients. After a repair we check the machine works as it should and record what we found in a written report you can keep for your records.
Pair repairs with a planned service and safety check, and look after the cooling system, which is behind many Nd:YAG faults.
What repair costs
Laser repairs vary a lot, so we quote each one. As a guide, a diagnosis visit is £95 and labour is £75 an hour, with parts at cost plus 25%. You get the figure in writing first. All prices exclude VAT. See the full price guide.
Do you repair picosecond lasers?
Send us the make and model. Some picosecond faults we can fix on site and some need manufacturer parts. We tell you which on the first call.
My laser is losing energy. What should I do?
Stop treating clients with it and call us. Falling energy can come from several causes, from the flashlamp to alignment or the cooling water, and it is quicker to diagnose than to guess.
Do you come to tattoo studios as well as clinics?
Yes. We visit studios, clinics and salons across Essex. See areas covered.
