Laser repair and servicing
Diode laser repair in Essex
Treatments taking longer, results slipping or the machine throwing an error mid-session? Send us the make, model and what it is doing. We will tell you what is likely wrong, quote it, and come to your clinic to fix it.
Diode laser faults we diagnose and repair
- Low or inconsistent output that makes treatments less effective
- Cooling errors: low flow, water level or temperature alarms
- Interlock, door and footswitch faults that stop the laser firing
- Worn or damaged handpieces, cables and contact-cooling tips
- Machine will not start or reboots under load
- Power supply and control board failures
- Touchscreen and software errors that lock the machine out
- Servicing and safety checks to catch problems early
Some diode faults, such as worn diode stacks, depend on parts from the manufacturer. We say so on the quote, along with the likely lead time, so you can plan around it.

Keep the diary full, not the repair queue
A hair-removal laser that is off for a week costs far more in cancelled courses than in repair. So we start with a free phone triage, give you a quote you can say yes to, and book the earliest visit. Most faults are diagnosed on the first visit.
Regular servicing and safety checks and a tidy cooling system are the cheapest way to avoid breakdowns in the first place.
What diode laser repair costs
Every fault is different, so we quote each job. As a guide, a diagnosis visit is £95 and labour is £75 an hour, with parts at cost plus 25%. You get the figure in writing before we start. All prices exclude VAT. See the full price guide.
Can you repair any make of diode laser?
We cover most mainstream hair-removal diode lasers. Send the make and model and we will confirm before you spend anything.
Is it worth repairing an older machine?
Often, yes. But if the repair is close to the value of the machine we will tell you, so you can decide with the facts.
Do I need a service contract?
No. We work per job. Book a planned service when it suits you.
