Cooling and water systems
Laser chiller and cooling system repair in Essex
Cooling faults are one of the most common reasons laser and IPL machines stop mid-day. Pumps, leaks, blocked filters and tired coolant are cheaper to fix than a damaged laser, so it pays to deal with them early.
Cooling problems we fix
- Pump failure and low or no flow
- Leaks from hoses, fittings and tanks
- Flow and level sensor alarms
- Water filter and de-ionising cartridge replacement
- Coolant flush and refill to the manufacturer’s spec
- Fans, radiators and heat exchangers clogged with dust
- Thermoelectric (Peltier) cooling faults
- Overheating shutdowns and temperature errors

The cheapest repair is the one you never need
Heat is the enemy of any laser or IPL. Clean filters, fresh coolant at the interval the manufacturer recommends and clear airflow keep machines running and protect expensive parts.
Our cooling system service is £125 and can be done alongside a full service and safety check.
What cooling repairs cost
Cooling system service £125. Pump or leak repairs start from £195 and are quoted once we have seen the fault. Labour is £75 an hour with parts at cost plus 25%. All prices exclude VAT. See the full price guide.
How often should the coolant be changed?
Follow your machine manufacturer’s guidance, as intervals and coolant types vary. If you are not sure what applies to yours, ask us.
My machine says low flow but the tank is full. What now?
That usually points to a blocked filter, an air lock, a failing pump or a sensor fault. Stop using the machine and call us, because running a laser with poor cooling can damage it.
Do you repair standalone chillers?
Yes, where the chiller is part of a laser or aesthetic system. Send us the make and model.
