Laser repair and servicing

CO2 and fractional laser repair in Essex

Resurfacing and fractional CO2 lasers are precise machines that do not forgive drift. If yours is losing power, scanning unevenly or throwing errors, we diagnose it properly and quote the repair before we start.

Faults we diagnose and repair

  • Low or uneven power and patchy treatments
  • Scanner and pattern errors
  • Aiming beam missing or misaligned
  • Delivery arm and handpiece alignment
  • Laser tube and RF power faults
  • Cooling and fan failures
  • Interlock, footswitch and key switch faults
  • Screen and control board errors

Laser tubes and optics usually come from the manufacturer or a specialist supplier. We confirm availability and lead time on the quote.

Safe to use again, not just switched on

Ablative and fractional lasers carry real risk if they are not behaving. So we do not just clear the error. We find the cause, fix it, check the machine and put what we found in a written report.

Book a planned service and safety check to keep it that way.

What repair costs

We quote each job. As a guide, a diagnosis visit is £95 and labour is £75 an hour, with parts at cost plus 25%. You get the figure in writing first. All prices exclude VAT. See the full price guide.

My CO2 laser pattern looks uneven. Is that the scanner?

It can be, but it can also be alignment, power or the handpiece. Stop treating and call us so we can narrow it down before parts are ordered.

Can you repair a laser tube?

Tubes are normally replaced rather than repaired. We diagnose first so you are not buying one you do not need.

Do you visit my clinic?
